Alison was born and raised in Chicago, IL and though she’ll always love it there, she gave in to her lifelong desire to enjoy the mountains and the lifestyle that Colorado has to offer and moved West in 2015.

Alison studied the music business at Columbia College Chicago but ultimately decided she’d be more fulfilled exploring different ways in which she could help animals. She spent time fundraising for the ASPCA, worked as a dog walker, and volunteered at local animal shelters before deciding to head back to school to become a Certified Veterinary Technician. She graduated in early 2012 and has worked at several amazing animal hospitals in Chicago before she joined the team at Alpine Hospital for Animals.

Alison absolutely loves the rewarding feeling of helping pets each and every day. When she is not at work, you can usually find her catching some live music with her friends, hula hooping, cooking, or wandering around beautiful Colorado on long walks with her goofy dog – a Staffordshire terrier and Rottweiler mix named Ruby!
